Almond & Coconut Cereal Made w/Paleo Bread™

I had such a craving for cereal this morning, and I don’t know why.  But I know how to satisfy that craving and still feel good about my decision to “splurge”.  This is Dan from Primal4Life, and I’m going to show you yet another example of how I use Julian Bakery’s Paleo Bread to eat traditional foods but in a healthy manner.  I used to be into the “whole wheat” kick back in the day, sitting down in front of the TV with a big bowl of cereal… and then wondering why I was passing out half an hour later after I could feel my heart racing.  Not today!!!!  With Paleo Bread in place of your average cereal flakes, I experienced none of the above.  Paleo Bread is made with almonds and coconuts, both of which control blood sugar spikes, unlike wheat and other grains.  Along with fiber and being high low carb, low calorie, gluten-free and even soy free, this is the optimal way for a health-conscious individual to enjoy a bowl of cereal.


• 2 slices of Paleo Bread™ – Coconut or Almond, defrosted

• Coconut oil

• Shredded unsweetened coconut

• Ground flax-seeds

• Macadamia nuts

• Sliced banana

• Hemp milk


1)      Toast Paleo Bread most of the way

2)      Spread coconut oil on toast, then sprinkle flax-seeds and shredded coconut

3)      Put toast back in toaster oven and toast to your liking

4)      When done, remove from toaster, and cut into small squares and put in bowl

5)      Add nuts, banana slices, 1/8th cup ground flax-seeds, 1/8th cup shredded coconut and milk
